Enjoy these new twists on Hanukkah recipes from our resident chef and food scientist, Ivy Koelliker. 

Simple Salmon Appetizer

  • 4 oz. creme fresh
  • 6 oz. smoked salmon 
  • fresh tarragon
  • the juice of half a lemon 
  • fresh cucumber slices 
  • fresh avocado slices
  • salt and pepper
  • Jewish rye bread (we used Pepperidge Farm Party Bread)

Combine the creme fresh with lemon juice, tarragon and season with salt and pepper.  Top each party bread slice with either a slice of cucumber or avocado  and top with salmon, sauce and a sprinkling of more tarragon.  Enjoy!
